Cognitive First

Despite our country’s best efforts, far too many students are under-performing academically, especially students from under-resourced families.

On average, students from families who qualify for the school lunch program are about 28-30 percentile points below students from families with resources on standardized achievement tests. This phenomenon is known as the ‘Achievement Gap”.

Cognitive First was formed as a nonprofit initiative to introduce the cognitive skill testing and training model into the education paradigm.

Cognitive First’s mission is to ensure that every student and family has affordable access to cognitive skill testing and training.
